January 18th, 2009 by admin

What can i do to make my bones stronger. Besides milk, any good supplements, also should i still skateboard everyday?

I have been skating for 2 years and the same thing happens to me after jumpin down like a 9 stair or somethin. Try mega teen vitamins, stretch for like 2 minutes and you will certainly feel the difference. The hip pain is from bruises when you land on your hip, you really wont feel the pain after you been skating for like a few years.

its not your bones, its your joints and ligaments. you need to stretch before skating, and if you skate for a long time, afterwards too. stretching is more important than you think and will prevent most injuries and long term painful conditions. start out lay on your back with your feet strait out, pull one leg to your chest at a time, bent at the knees, for 30 seconds. then stand and touch your toes for 30 seconds. face a wall with your hands on the wall, pull your leg behind you to your opposite hand, both for 30 seconds. theres other stretches you can do as well you should look up. but i think this will relieve alot of your pain. and also stay hydrated.

Drink a lot of water.. apparently, your cartilage and such can dry out if you're not hydrated.. so i was told by a runner..
