knee pain after surgery?

does anyone have a good pain killer over the counter for my aching knee, I had surgery a yr ago suddenly it hurts again, I twisted my knee and don't wanna go back to the dr. just want some pain relief until it gets well. and don't like to use drugs, I usually use natural things, herbs etc.
for knee pain, the best thing is an anti inflamatory. many take aleve as it is made from naperson. i don't care for it. i use anything with ibuprofin, like motrin. the key is to take it on a regular basis. about 600 mg every 4-6 hrs should help a lot. just make sure to take it on a full stomach as it can cause stomach problems is you don't.

if you have had surgery on that knee before you need to see a doctor to make sure that you didn't re injure it.
