Remedies for arthritis and swelling in knee for a haemophiliac?

January 12th, 2009 by admin

My father has arthritis and finds it sometimes painful to walk due to his knees. They are usually quite swollen and stiff.

However, because he has haemophilia, he cannot take the usual anti-inflammatory medicine that would normally be prescribed by Doctors.

What remedies can you suggest to ease the swelling and soften the pain?

I swear by this stuff. It's called "Liquid Health - Glucosamine". A friend of mine was scheduled for knee replacement surgery. After taking this for 3 months, he not only has been pain free for over a year, but never had to have the surgery!

Your father could use a e stim unit to help increase the blood flow. The electrical stimulator
works off of either AA or a nine volt battery and you could find one in most medical supply places. There are easy to use and not to expensive. You could check with your fathers doctor are on the Internet for a e stim unit.

    Peace

When you cant ingest any anti-inflammatory drugs the best advice I can give is to go topically.

Topical creams have been shown to reduce pain, send powerful ingredients to the pain and help with the swelling.

Ingredients like emu oil, msm, aloe vera have been proven to help.

I have had arthritis for 10 years and the best answer I have had to end arthritis pain is by using a powerful topical cream.

The best one I have found after years of looking is the one listed
    at the site below.

The cream at this website has helped me and my friends reduce our pain in many ways…
