Knee support for arthritis knees?

January 30th, 2009 by admin

My dad is 65 and recently started having joint pain because of arthritis. Its mainly located in knee joints. If you have any experience with knee supports, would you reply which ones suited you most and why. I will be flying to meet my dad soon and I want to give it to him at that time. So pls reply. Thanks. I appreciate your answers.

I personally haven't but my partner has. I got him a magnetic knee support and he said it has helped a lot, not got rid of the pain completely but eased it. He has also started on fish oil and glucosamine tablets as they are very beneficial with arthritic pain and are not a drug.
Before that i just got a sports wrap from the chemist which didn't really help as its more for joint pain due to muscle injury but the magnetic ones are great for arthritic pain, good luck and i hope you find them, i got mine from the chemist.

Go to your local chemists .They carry so many different products that could help with your dads knee.Elastic knee supports are not to bad.I hope your dad gets better as arthritis can be very painful.
