I have bad knee arthritis, is the elliptical machine the best exercise option? Will it b the most pain free??

I really need something that will let me exercise daily without hurting my knees.

Running has no effect but just walking up stairs pains me greatly.

Is the elliptical machine a pain free workout for people with arthritis?

What I would suggest is ask a sports trainer. They work with folks everyday with injuries diet and fitness.Check out this site they have a professional trainer who answeres questions like yours.Good luck.

I have arthritic knees and I do roller blading. I have not done the elliptical but it looks like it would hurt.
